This was created by a very special process. The background is created by scoring a sheet of copper on a lathe. An artist was commissioned to hand carve a piece of art used to create a mold, then copper powder was put into the mold and covered with a hot rosin to create the figure, which was then mounted to the copper. The frame is hand milled walnut. **Because the frames are all hand-milled there may be color variations and small defects.**

These are no longer made and are extremely hard to find in any condition. This item is new in the original box.
