This quilt goes together fast and is easy! It can be done as a quilt as you go, so that when you are done piecing it, the quilt is finished ! You can choose to bind it or not! It's a great stash buster and can be done from flannel or cotton quilting fabric. You can even use minky for the back if you like! Come join us! Bet you can't make just one!!
Length: All day
Skill Level: Confident Beginner - Intermediate level
Supplies: Sewing machine, rotary cutter and cutting mat, usual quilting/sewing notions (pins, scissors, thread, etc.) Twin size low loft batting. If using fat quarters, bring 32 fat quarters for the top and 32 for the backing. If using yardage bring the equivalent of 4 yards of fabric for the front (recommend several different prints/solids) and four yards for the backing.

Full payment is due to secure your spot upon signing up for a class. 100% of a class fee is refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 48 hours before class. This allows us to offer your spot to an individual on the waiting list and it ensures that our teachers will be compensated for their time. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.

| Instructor Bio: | Candace Tull has been quilting for over 20 years. She loves to teach, and you will find her classes fun and engaging. Her motto when quilting is: If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong! She has taught many classes and hundreds of quilters, but particularly enjoys the Beginning to Quilt class where people who have never quilted or even sewn much, learn this wonderful artform and release their creativity. She also specializes in teaching paper piecing, which is a way to make a complicated, perfect block, without having it BE complicated or difficult. She is a professional educator by training and is an advanced practice nurse. She has 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren and loves life. |
