Bristol Beginner Block of the Month 2024

Description: Mark your calendar, and sign up online or in store for The Block of the Month.  Newbies, skilled quitters, and those desiring to break into their stash will learn to rotary cut, foundation piece, applique, and use those wonderful Tucker tools and wing clippers in this 12 month continuous class.  Our first month's class is a square in a square and will use simple square rulers.  Each month will be more challenging and at the end of 12 months you will have a beautiful quilt.  This class begins On January 13 at 10:30 and is scheduled to repeat the second Saturday of each month.  Cost will be $25 each month and you will be given a list of fabric requirements when you sign up, which will require about 7.5 yards of fabric for the quilt top, a rotary cutter, long quilter's ruler. self-healing mat, and a minimum 12 1/2 square ruler, along with basic sewing notions.

Skill Level: Beginner (must be able to sew a straight stitch)

Length of class:  4.5 - 5 hours (approximately)

Minimum number of students: 2
Maximum number of students: 6

Full payment is due to secure your spot upon signing up for a class. 100% of a class fee is refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 48 hours before class. This allows us to offer your spot to an individual on the waiting list and it ensures that our teachers will be compensated for their time. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.
