Bristol Fall Quilt Club ~ Hunter's Canopy by Carla Klop

As seen in the latest edition of American Quilter magazine, Hunter's Canopy by Carla Klop, is a beautiful fall quilt that we have chosen to do for Quilt Club of the month for September and October!  The quilt finishes around 70x86 and will be a perfect Christmas gift or a gorgeous decor item for the fall holidays. We have LIMITED fabric kits available so save your spot today! Students must purchase the American Quilter Magazine (cost is INCLUDED) in order to have the pattern rights. They will be distributed on the first day of class.

Length: 4 classes at 3 - 3.5 hours each

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Supplies Needed:

Working sewing machine you are familiar with
Project fabric kit or you can use fabrics of your choice in the following amounts:
Orange print: 2-1/8 yds
Green print: 1 yd
Gold print: 1/2 yd
Cream print: 1/2 yd
Dark Brown print: 3-3/4 yds
Medium Brown print: 1/4 yd
Binding: 2/3 yd

1/4 quilting foot
thread to match fabric
Rotary cutter
Rotary cutting mat
Marking pencil (light and dark)

Minimum number of students - 3

Maximum number of students - 8

Full payment is due to secure your spot upon signing up for a class. 100% of a class fee is refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 48 hours before class. This allows us to offer your spot to an individual on the waiting list and it ensures that our teachers will be compensated for their time. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.

Instructor: Candace Tull
Instructor Bio: Candace Tull has been quilting for over 20 years. She loves to teach, and you will find her classes fun and engaging. Her motto when quilting is: If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong! She has taught many classes and hundreds of quilters, but particularly enjoys the Beginning to Quilt class where people who have never quilted or even sewn much, learn this wonderful artform and release their creativity. She also specializes in teaching paper piecing, which is a way to make a complicated, perfect block, without having it BE complicated or difficult. She is a professional educator by training and is an advanced practice nurse. She has 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren and loves life.
