AZ Beginning Quilting
Beginning Quilting - $45
Objective:
In this class we will learn how to make a quilt top using pre-cuts. Press seams properly so that your fabric does not stretch, and to use your domestic sewing machine to sew a 1/4 inch seam. Every skill you need to begin quilting!
Intended for adults & teens 14 & older.

Supply List:
Items you must bring:
A working Sewing machine that you know how to use.
Machine Quilting Needle 75/11 or Universal Needle 90/14
Gray or cream cotton thread
Fabric Snips or small Scissors
Straight pins
Seam guide or small ruler 1.5*6.5
Your cell phone that takes photos if you don’t have one Instructor will take photos for you.
Items we will have available to use, but that you should consider purchasing if you don’t have them at home:
Iron
Ironing board or wool mat
Wood clapper

Fabric: Pre-cuts needed to make your quilt top.
If you do not have a machine you can rent one for the class for $10/class
Minimum of 2 students needed for class to be held.
Full payment is due to secure your spot upon signing up for a class. 100% of a class fee is refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 48 hours before class. This allows us to offer your spot to an individual on the waiting list and it insures that our teachers will be compensated for their time. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.
Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Quarter inch seam and straight sewing. Will learn how to “nest seams”.
