Modern Shadow Work

The technique we use in the shadow work collection is amazing. When we were developing our shadow work technique everyone would pass by as it was stitching and wonder how it was done. We use a simple technique where we stitch the design on our base fabric and then add another piece of fabric on top, stipple the background and then stitch the design element outlines. The end result is a shaded coloring to the design that almost looks like the fabric was painted. You can obviously use these designs in your quilts and pillows, as well as many other types of projects. The best part about this collection is that you can combine it with other Anita Goodesign collections! This collection is part of the Mix and Match? quilt line. All of the design collections that are in the Mix and Match? line come with multiple size blocks and are fully interchangeable.
