Sewing Classes
SEWING 101: (Beginner)
Learn to sew while making an original heirloom Teddy Bear. Even the most experienced sewer will enjoy this project! We use the pattern for the teddy bear which was first given to President Roosevelt and thus named Teddy Bear. In this class you will learn all the basics of sewing. When finished you will have acquired two things:
- the skills/knowledge needed to make simple garments and easy projects, and
- your very own beautiful heirloom bear.
The class fee is $90.00 for two four-hour sessions and includes all materials.
SEWING 101A: (Beginner)
Learn to sew while making a pillow or placemats. Call for prices and times.
SEWING 102: (Intermediate)
Learn more complicated sewing techniques such as button holes, zipper installation, blind hems, how and when to use different stitches, and more. Consult instructor for project information and required materials list. Call for prices and times.

SEWING 103: (Advanced)
Learn advanced techniques such as altering patterns, creating your own pattern, tailoring your clothes, etc.
