Learn the difference between straight and bias binding. Learn how to connect binding strips and how to attach the binding to a quilt. Learn the difference between hand binding and machine binding.
Supplies needed:
Free motion sample from Beginning Quilting 102 OR a 18"x22" quilted sandwich
2 fat quarters, different colors - NOT solid colors
cotton thread
cutting mat
rotary cutter with sharp blade
ruler 6" x 24"
ruler 3" x 8" or similar size (recommended)
sewing machine in good working condition with a new needle and your manual
basic sewing supplies
1/4" quilting foot WITHOUT the guide optional but recommended
Wonder Clips optional but recommended
