NM Beginning Quilting 102 Borders & Free Motion
Learn to make straight and mitered quilt borders and learn the basics of free-motion quilting on your domestic sewing machine.
Fabric for class will be provided.
Supplies needed:
cotton thread and bobbins (a variety is best)
cutting mat
rotary cutter with a sharp blade
ruler 6" x 24" at least
ruler 4" x 12" or similar size - optional but recommended
sewing machine in good working condition with a new needle and the manual
basic sewing supplies
1/4" quilting foot (optional)
free motion foot for your machine
flat head pins (recommended for mitered borders)
