AZ Foundation Paper Piece Class 1

Foundation Paper Piece (FPP) Class 1 - $35

Objective: The objective is to learn how to foundation paper piecing by using a cactus pattern. 

In this class we will learn how foundation paper piecing can make anything into a geometric quilt! You will learn the basic technique in this class. We will be making a 12" x 12" Foundation paper pieced Heart that can be made into a quilted pillow, wall hanging, quilt block, or mat.

Intended for adults & teens 14 & older. 

1 session / 2 hours

Supply List:
Items you must bring:
Sewing machine
Fabric or very sharp scissors
Paper Scissors 
Straight pins
Machine Quilting Needle 75/11 or Universal Needle 90/14  
Glue Stick

Items we will have available to use, but that you should consider purchasing:
Cutting mat
Rotary cutter
Sewing machine
Ironing board
Fabric or very sharp scissors
Paper Scissors 
Glue Stick
Grey 100% cotton Thread (or other neutral color)
Scraps of Reds, Whites/Greys/Pinks, 

Included in the cost of the class:
We will have some fabric scraps on hand
The Pattern to accompany the Class

If you do not have a machine you can rent one for the class for $10/class

Minimum of 2 students needed for class to be held.  

Full payment is due to secure your spot upon signing up for a class. 100% of a class fee is refundable or transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 48 hours before class. This allows us to offer your spot to an individual on the waiting list and it insures that our teachers will be compensated for their time. No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.
