Your embroidery skills are sure to blossom and grow as you join us for "The Garden Guild," KimberBell’s NEW one-day machine embroidery event! Create a Machine Embroider by Number: Pieced Bloom in a 6×10 hoop at the event, then “leaf” with four additional sizes to stitch later. Add “Darling, You Look Radishing” to a fully-lined Zipper Pouch Blank, then make a “Wet My Plants” Mat perfect for your potted blooms! The three event projects include fresh techniques and fabulous Kimberberbellishments such as Pull Flowers, Cute as a Button(s), Wool Felt Balls, and more. When you join The Garden Guild, your embroidery skills are sure to blossom and grow.
**There will be a few embroidery machines available to rent for the event, but check availability prior to registering.
Skill level: Beginner
Length of class: All Day (10am-3pm)
Items to bring with you to class:
1) A working embroidery machine with a 6x10 hoop and a 5x7 hoop
2) Basic sewing supplies: scissors, pins, water-soluble pen, needle, and thread (for a few embellishment attachments), etc.
3) Embroidery thread, 4o weight, in the following colors: white, red, green, blue, yellow
4) Bobbin thread colors: white, red
**You can use any thread brand you like, but in case you wanted the thread colors used in the KimberBell samples, they were:
Glide: white (10000), Candy Apple (90186), Cornflower (80120), Aquamarine (37474), Kentucky Grass (1090)
Hemingworth: Pure White (1001), Candy Apple (1030), Dandelion (1047), Teal Blue (1180); Kentucky Grass (1090)
