Bristol Art Tote Project

A great project to hold art supplies for your little one to use and get creative. If you are on the go a lot, what better way to bring art supplies along than an Art Tote? If you have a budding little artist in your life, make them their own Art Tote. It is guaranteed to be a present they will treasure for many years to come! Or better yet, if your little one is 8+ years old, they can do the project themselves as they learn to sew!

Cost: $25

Supplies and tools you need to bring to class:

  • Working sewing machine, foot pedal, power cord
  • 4 Fat Quarters of Cotton Fabric (2 different prints)
  • 1/3 yard fusible fleece
  • 1/2 yard single-sided fusible interfacing
  • Sewing thread to match the fabric
  • 1.5 – 2 yards decorative trim
  • Basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins, seam ripper, ruler, point turner)

Minimum number of students: 2
Maximum number of students: 6

Skill Level: beginner
Skill Details: Beginner level ~ must need to know how to operate a sewing machine. If a child is doing the project, an adult will need to help them get their machine ready for stitching.
Instructor: Kimberly Bradley
Instructor Bio: Kimberly Bradley is the owner of the store. Being raised by a mother who owned a sewing store, she was exposed to many different aspects of sewing and embroidery. Now, with three children of her own, she has been crafting and creating projects for over 30 years. She loves to sew and loves to help others learn to sew too!
